The processing phases of bottled water require a team which includes an Engineer, a Chemist and a Quality Control Manager to keep the machines in “top shape” and continually checking the quality of the water. The “TDS” emanating from the source, can change dramatically in quality in minutes, thereby exceeding the preset parameters, and causing the permeate quality to decrease. An alarm is triggered by our computerized machine indicating that the TDS parameter has been exceeded. BOTH the Engineer and the Chemist have to take corrective measures to ensure a rapid return to an acceptable quality. Sometimes it may consist of system backwash or in the worst case scenario, end of processing for that day.
